They acquired work from their former employees and soon all the furniture stores followed suit. Harry Newlove emigrated the following year and Bob continued running the company on his own.

In 1959 he was joined by his son Max, who had been learning the carpet business at BMK, a carpet manufacturer. The business continued to grow and moved several times to larger premises, Bob retired in 1972 and Max took over full control, the company then took on more and more large scale projects.

Max's elder son Damon joined the company in 1987 by which stage the company had more than 40 employees and operated from a 20,000 square foot warehouse in the White City area of Manchester. Max's younger son Nik joined the company in 1992 and they have seen the company win and complete some of the largest and most prestigious flooring installations in the country. The company is now in the new millennium with Damon and Nik in control and the next generation waiting in the wings.
